New Media Studio Desks

Here are some images documenting the design and fabrication of the studio desk design for Penn State's New Media Undergrad Studio. it was clear that there were some structural shortcomings in the first prototype, which were addressed in the design revision. Each desk can be assembled without hardware or tools, and requires only one and a half sheets of plywood, keeping the overall cost low. I built 24 desks which can accomodate up to 48 work stations.
